Welcome to my blog – Makeover You Deserve – a safe place where we battle our insecurities & empower ourselves through skincare, makeup, and creating looks. I want it to be a journey, a conversation, and an exploration of what it truly means to feel good about oneself, confident, and unapologetically you. Years ago, I embarked on a small venture, from the corners of my home. It was for those yearning for a skincare regime that was ingredient-focused, tailored for them and gave them connections to medical experts when OTC products no longer serve. There were makeup workshops, creation of personal look books and much more

There were less-than-ideal skin days of my own, of standing against the mirror and seeing a reflection clouded by imperfections and insecurities. Yet, there were moments of epiphany, of realizing that each blemish, each line was a narrative of life, a testament to battles fought and resilience forged. In those moments, skincare morphed from a mere routine to a ritual of self-love and acceptance. Makeover You Deserve bloomed, somewhat unexpectedly, into a thriving business. But, as life’s pendulum swung, I was juggling too many worlds, and in the whirlwind of commitments, I lost a piece of myself. It was time to pause, to breathe, to let go. 

And so, I stepped back, letting Makeover You Deserve slip into a quiet slumber. Now, it is back – not as a makeover business, but as a canvas of words – a blog where I’ll share my musings, my experiences, and the plethora of products that have been my companions in this journey of beauty and self-discovery. We’ll dissect the world of skincare and makeup, favorites, my not-so-favorites, and everything in between.
